Allan Kornberg, M.D., M.B.A., FAAP

Allan Kornberg, M.D., M.B.A., FAAP, a pediatrician, is the founder and Executive Director of Nutrition for Families and previously served as Medical Director and Executive Director of Physicians Association for Nutrition USA. He has practiced in primary care and emergency medicine and served as Vice-Chair of  the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo and as Chief of Emergency Medicine and General Pediatrics. He was an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at University of Buffalo and an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Brown University. Allan has also held numerous leadership positions with medical, humanitarian and animal protection organizations, including Medical Director and CEO of Network Health, a healthplan in Massachusetts serving impoverished individuals; Chief Medical Officer of the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality; and Executive Director of World Animal Protection-USA, and Farm Sanctuary. He received his B.S. from MIT in Biology, M.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, and M.B.A. from the University of Rochester. He was resident and chief resident in Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine.
